Mary H McCormick LCSW

I have had the privilege of serving my clients as a social worker, advocate and therapist for many years, working with adults of all ages, children and teens, and families. I received my masters in social work from the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago. I am continuously studying and learning as a practitioner. My clinical experience includes work in community mental health, private practice, crisis intervention and medical social work. What I love about my work is engaging with clients in a process of self-discovery, healing and empowerment. As a social worker, I am trained to consider the "person in environment", so I am interested in understanding and working with you in a holistic way. I see clients in person at my Evanston office and offer telehealth as needed. I am also on staff at the Chicago Center for Integration and Healing in the Ravenswood neighborhood, where I am part of a community of engaged and supportive therapists.
